Is water drops really going up?? How is this possible?? No gravity??
The answer is simple. It is an optic illusion. A strobe light is used here to illuminate the water droplets.
If the light’s strobing frequency equals the frequency of the water droplets, the drops seem stationary because every time the strobe flashes it is illuminating the next water drop at the same location.
If we change the frequency to slightly slower will make the drops appear to fall in slow motion as the next drop gets illuminated.
If we change the frequency slightly higher, it will illuminate to the next droplet at a slightly higher position, this will make the drops appear like they are moving backward.
